Nothing is ordered and nothing is charged until you have seen the quotation and confirmed it in writing.

Model or spec sheet, quantity, the room it is going into and the budget you are working with. A photo of an existing unit or a line from a tender document is enough to start.

We come back with the options we can actually get, and a quotation that shows the landed cost rather than just the factory price.

You confirm in writing
Nothing is ordered until you approve the quotation and the payment terms. Both are agreed in writing first.

Manufacture and shipping
Air or sea, depending on how urgent, how large and how price-sensitive the order is. The expected timeline is in your quotation before you commit.

Clearing and compliance
Customs clearance and import documentation are handled for you. Medical devices coming into Kenya can attract Kenya Bureau of Standards conformity checks and, depending on the device, Pharmacy and Poisons Board requirements. We confirm what applies to your item as part of the quotation.

Delivery, installation and handover
Delivered to your facility anywhere in Kenya. Equipment that needs setting up is installed and commissioned on site by our engineers.

Questions we get asked
- Can you import a single unit, or is there a minimum order?
- Single units are fine. Whether importing one unit makes financial sense depends on its size and value, and we will tell you honestly if buying locally works out better for you.
- How long does an import take?
- It depends on the manufacturer and on whether the order ships by air or by sea. The expected timeline is set out in your quotation before you confirm anything.
- Is importing cheaper than buying from your catalogue?
- Sometimes, and sometimes not. Freight, duty and clearing can outweigh a lower factory price on small orders. On large or specialised orders it often works in your favour. The quotation shows both options where we stock something comparable.
- What do you need from me to start?
- The model or specification, the quantity, where it will be installed and the budget you are working to. If you only have a photo or a tender line item, send that.
- Do you handle customs clearance?
- Yes. Clearing and import documentation are part of the service, and the cost of both appears in your quotation.
- Can you import the equipment in one of your starter packs?
- Yes. If you want a different make or model of anything in a starter pack, we can source and import that item and quote the pack around it.
